Face Reading feature
How we use your information
- Providing and personalizing Five Elements wellness recommendations and reports.
- Authenticating your account and maintaining session security.
- Processing in-app purchases and managing subscription entitlements.
- Sending optional push notifications (daily wellness, recommended timing) — only with your explicit permission.
- Diagnosing technical issues and improving app performance.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active; permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Face photos — deleted within 24 hours of upload, regardless of account status.
- Wellness reading history — retained while your account is active; deleted upon account deletion.
- Aggregated analytics — may be retained in anonymized form indefinitely.

Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact privacy@ohaeng.app and we will delete it promptly.
Cookies & tracking
The App does not use cookies. We do not use cross-site tracking technologies. Any analytics we collect are aggregated and do not personally identify you.
Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, Row-Level Security (RLS) policies in our database, and restricted access controls. However, no transmission method or electronic storage system is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Push notifications
Push notifications (e.g., daily wellness alerts, recommended timing reminders) are sent only after you grant explicit permission. You can withdraw this permission at any time through your device's notification settings.
International data transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the Republic of Korea and the United States. Where applicable, transfers comply with relevant data protection laws (e.g., GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses).
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, by obtaining renewed consent. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
