Delete your account.

You can request full deletion of your Ohaeng account and all associated personal data. Choose the method that's easiest for you below — both achieve the same result within 30 days.

Method 1 — From inside the app

  1. Open Ohaengand go to the Settings tab.
  2. Tap "Edit Profile"and scroll to the bottom.
  3. Tap "Delete Account"and confirm. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Method 2 — By email

If you no longer have access to the app, send us an email and we'll process the deletion manually.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Removed within 30 days

  • Your account profile (email, birth date, birth hour, gender, name)
  • All wellness reading history and saved reports
  • Compatibility profiles you've added (partner, family, friends)
  • Subscription and entitlement records (subject to platform retention)
  • Push notification preferences and device tokens
  • Conversation history with the in-app AI
Face Reading photos are deleted within 24 hours of upload by default — they are never retained beyond the immediate analysis, regardless of whether you request account deletion.

What we may retain

For legal and security reasons, we may retain a minimal amount of data after account deletion:

  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics — usage statistics that cannot identify you
  • Transaction records — required for accounting, tax, and audit obligations (typically 5 years, governed by Korean tax law)
  • Records required by law enforcement requests — only where legally compelled
